This is the Coldbrook Grade 8 Band performing Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes. Coldbrook & District School is a public school in rural Nova Scotia that has (amazing) students in Grades Primary through 8. Unfortunately, the music teacher is lazy and made the band students do all the work. Over the course of this project, these third year band students had fun transcribing, transposing and arranging their own parts using chords, band instruments…and a few boomwhackers. Thanks to CBC for helping us prove that music theory is awesome!
